We love to hear the wonderful details of how our engaged couples met and their special story. Each couple we meet has a unique, wonderful, and touching story all of their own. For Alex, he first saw Irina in early December, several years ago, at a swimming pool. Obviously, there was something lovely and intriguing about her, and he wanted to get to know her a little more. So he offered her a lift in his car. In her own words, Irina said, laughingly, “I refused, and I showed him my car keys. The second time I saw him, again, he met me at the pool, and waited for me near my car with flowers.” Their relationship deepened and one day Alex took Irina to New York City, where he proposed. We loved hearing their story and how they got engaged in beautiful Central Park.
Alex and Irina are originally from Moscow, but they love to travel, and fly to the United States. One of Irina’s requests was to have an all day excursion to take photographs, and we love to do our best to fulfill the dreams of our beautiful bride. We loved every minute of arranging your elegant elopement, and vintage flowers and décor were amazingly right in line with what we love most, a beautiful and elegant day. What a great day that was! Congratulations!

Irina loves vintage things, and at her request, we found some stunning heirloom David Austen roses for the bouquet and centerpiece, and for the table setting, we found some lovely antique silver chargers and plates.
Since parents were not there, each brought a wedding photo of their parents on their own wedding days, and we made sure to include those framed portraits in some of our wedding photos.
Another touching detail was a beautiful heirloom cross-stitched banner made by Irina’s grandmother, who lives in Ukraine, and was a token of love brought from across continents.
