An Important Date to Remember | Kurt and Amber

Our couple Amber and Kurt met just after college. After graduation, some mutual friends kept trying to get this cute couple together. Kurt had to work at using his charm a bit as Amber didn’t give him the time of day, at first. He was persistent, so all you guys out there, don’t give up the first time, love does conquer all! And fun fact, this couple stuck to the same important date all through their courtship and marriage. They first met on February 16, then got engaged on that same date a year or so later, and yes! They got married this year on February 16, 2023! Repetition is good for the soul! And weddings!

This was such a fun event! Amazing florals everywhere! And our officiant, Berlynn, really added a sweet feeling of love during the ceremony. Our couple really have a couple of loving tender hearts. As Amber was walking down the aisle toward Kurt, he sang the processional song to her. He cried as he watched her approach and even during the vows a bit, (ok, a lot). Secretly, we love men who aren’t afraid to show a little emotion! And then they both sang to each other afterwards as they danced their first dance as husband and wife, “I Love Your Love The Most” by Eric Church. And we couldn’t help but notice their sensational boots as they danced! Kurt had some amazing western boots and Amber had a pair of really cute white mules with silver toes! Check those out! You know how our girl loves shoes!

Our DJ Leland of Boogie Entertainment, did a great job getting our guests out on the floor! The cupid shuffle and Wobble were happening with lots of enthusiasm! He was really keeping people moving to stay warm, as it was a bit chilly out there in February!
Also keeping folks warmed up was Trixie’s Mobile Bar, and hot food from Ray Ray’s catering!
All in all this wedding was a booming success! We want to wish our couple love and the best wishes for a long and happy marriage! Congrats!
