What would you do if the weather was forecast to be awful on your wedding day? Are you a “go for it weather be damned” couple, or are you a “move the venue” kind of couple? Here at Cactus and Lace Weddings, we have had both scenarios, and truthfully, our couples are so much fun and just slightly crazy enough to go for it much of the time!
Rainy days never get us down!
Rain, wind, whatever, they do it! And it always is a great day! Even with horrible weather. Why? Because having a wonderful day is dependent not on the actual weather, but on the attitude they bring, and the couple’s intense desire to have a great day, regardless of weather, hiccups, and the many bizarre things that happen on every single wedding day. They just decide to have a great day! And they do!
Going for it!
Aniana and Austen are that couple. There was a 92% chance of rain, which is pretty hard to ignore. But they both decided to go for it, and guess what, there was hardly any rain at all. Just wind! Go figure! SO with no rain, and a truly lovely ceremony, with red velvet cake to seal the deal, this wedding was amazing. Beautiful delicate florals and the scenic beauty of Valley of Fire are hard to ignore and we took full advantage with photos of this breathtaking and lovely bride and her man. We noticed Austen looking deep into Yanna’s eyes during the ceremony, he is her calm for sure! You two are made for each other! And our bride’s gorgeous wedding dress with its long train made for romantic, otherworldly photos that just made our hearts melt! We love the wind and the dramatic images that it can create.
We wish you all the love, joy, and happiness your lives can hold as you begin this new life together! Congratulations!
