Does planning a destination Vegas wedding seem overwhelming and too cookie cutter? Many couples use ingenuity, inspiration, and creativity to make it their own and uniquely stylish.
Getting Wedding Inspiration
Often ideas found on social media can spark inspiration. Ideally, making your elopement reflect who you both are is the whole point! Browsing idea heavy places like Instagram, inspo sites like Pinterest, and roaming through various wedding sites can help couples in so many ways. Feel inspired to break away from stereotypical weddings and really bring a style you can call your own to your special day!
Connecting with wedding planners such as Cactus and Lace, to ask advice or coordinate with, can ease the experience. More than a planner, we photograph all our own weddings as well! All this adds up to a glorious and meaningful way to show your love for each other as well as create a great experience for your guests.
Finding Vendors to Help Create Your Own Wedding deliciousness
Trying to find vendors to help with location venues, and setting up rentals for seating and decor can be exhausting! Especially while trying to work or live life in general. But it is possible if you have the time, money, and know-how.
However, an even better way simplify your wedding is by using a planning company! Cactus and Lace Weddings came into being by wanting to help do just that. Create a simple, yet stylish event, using a platform of ideas to reflect your personal tastes in an affordable, easy, and relaxing way. We really get to know our couples on a deeper level so we can absolutely focus on creating a day they will love forever.
We love our couples!
Let us show you a beautiful couple who came to us for help with their elopement. Meet Akilah and Adam, one of our most recent couples! A true love story, they met years before in college, each married someone else, then both were recently divorced and found each other again after years! It became a delightful job for us finding top-notch vendors to suit their preferences. As well, we created elegant and simply beautiful decor to enhance their special day.
Choosing an officiant who focused on meaningful touching ceremonies was very important. Next, choosing small pieces of trendy decor, that reflect their own personal style. An outdoor venue with gorgeous scenery at the Valley of Fire, helping to retain a tender intimacy with their friends and family was a lovely unique addition. And the moon was out the whole time, making marvelous images!
Our other favorite decor essential is flowers! Look at the stunning work by one of our favorite floral vendors. Arch pieces, a gorgeous bridal bouquet, and other touches make a wedding into something really special. Fresh, fragrant, stunning arrangements really upscale a standard wedding into something totally luxurious! We highly recommend!
Weddings are second nature to us, it is exhilarating, and we know all the tricks and tips to keep things affordable yet so beautiful! We are always amazed at how unique and different the combination of our clients’ wishes and our know-how creates a one-of-a-kind wedding, large or small. No cookie cutters here!
Take a look at how Akilah and Adam created the day of their dreams
One of our favorite things was the way that Akilah and Adam personalized their wedding attire that day! Add stylish shoes for both, next pick stunning jewelry, and last showcase unique touches of class! Especially check out Akilah’s beautiful gown from Grace Loves Lace! It was gorgeous and full of flair with a lace form-fitting style that she rocked! HER RING, ramped up the deliciousness factor by a mile! (Check out her jean jacket, so dang cute!) And Adam’s suit from Q Clothier with its bold lining embroidered with their names and wedding date was the bomb. His hand-tooled leather shoes caught our eye as well!
We could go on and on with all the extra details, but take a look at their photos below for even more elopement style ideas! Congratulations Akilah and Adam!
