House Buying and the Let’s Get Married Spark!

Let us introduce Alyssa and Trey, a modern day loving couple who had known each other for five years. They had even recently bought a house together! There is something about buying a house that pokes people who love each other and says, “Hey, don’t you think it is time to get married?”

We don’t know what it is, but we hear this story often enough that we think is definitely, “a thing.”

Therefore, according to the cosmic plan of house buying, a little thought began to form in our dynamic couples’ collective mind. Where to do this amazing, a little intimidating but oh so wonderful union?

Somehow, they stumbled upon us and our exciting desert landscapes and we were so glad to help out! Who couldn’t after seeing the love this couple had for each other, their humor and joy being together, and their excitement to get married in Valley of Fire?

Unique Weddings are OUR Happy Specialty

Every Cactus and Lace Wedding is as unique and special as the couple themselves, and this one was no different. Right off the bat, we vibed with Alyssa and Trey’s love of velvet upholstered furniture. They loved antique pieces as well, so we busted out a brand new green velvet chair in their honor! It was gorgeous, and their grandmother settled down in it right away! We also brought in a vintage antique desk that blended so well with the rich colors. For many reasons, classic furniture pieces in a rustic desert setting makes us so happy! How about you?

Coincidence or Serendipity?

There is a cool little story going around about this wedding. Did you know the Alyssa spent a good deal of time finding the best ring for Trey? But better still, after they bought it, they realized that it matched Alyssa’s dads ring almost exactly by serendipity. Alyssa said her dad had not worn his ring in years, so it was a crazy coincidence!
