Confession time and kind of a big one – This may have been the most fun wedding ever! From the first video consult, we knew Cirsti & Larry would be a joy to work with. The way Cirsti just soaked up Larry’s sense of humor made their love for each other so apparent.

Larry and Cirsti are a special couple in so many ways. They have a pretty big age gap and they worked together for quite a while before Cirsti worked up the courage to make a move on Larry. But even though Cirsti did the upfront work of pursuing Larry at the beginning of their relationship; he brought it home with an epic proposal.

On the first day of a trip to Cancun in December 2021, Larry had planned a surprise romantic dinner on the beach. When they walked down the beach there was a private cabana set up for them with a very nice dinner. Cirsti failed to notice how progressively nervous Larry was getting after each course. Finally, as they were getting to the dessert course, the waiter came running down the beach with a phone and started filming us and asking questions. During that, another waiter was heading our way with a dessert platter. When Larry sat down in front of Cirsti, there was a glass globe that he lifted that revealed the engagement ring! Larry grabbed the ring box and then got down on one knee and proposed. Immediately she said yes! But Larry was so overwhelmed that he forgot to put the ring on her finger.

On the wedding day, we discovered that Larry was even more hilarious and fun in person. Such a pleasure and privilege to watch Cirsti & Larry together. Larry always making jokes and playing around, and Cirsti was all smiles, just loving him and eating it all up. As she walked up the aisle to him, he said quietly and teasingly “Who are you?” with a laugh that made her giggle. And during the vows, she said to him “Thanks for waiting for me to be born.”; referencing their age gap with more soft, sweet teasing.

Portrait time was total laughing hysterics for all of us, the photographers and the videographer as well as Cirsti. Larry had all of us clutching our sides and struggling to actually do our jobs because we were so busy laughing so hard. Both Larry and Cirsti were telling us stories and laughing with us the whole time. We left that desert sunset wedding out of breath, with sore cheeks from smiling so much.
