This was a wild ride of a wedding! Let us tell you all the things!
Firstly, we are always watching the weather for all our weddings. Obviously, that is a must when specializing in outdoor weddings. The forecast showed 100% chance of rain with a light breeze. Meghan and Tyler were well aware and wanted to keep the schedule as it was so we were ready to make it work!
Right as the bride’s limo pulled up, the wind picked up a huge unexpected gust and blew literally everything over; the arch, the sand ceremony, all the runners, and knocked over many of the goblets. It was wild. We scrambled to fix all the things and the guests were so helpful. It means the world to us when everyone is so willing to enjoy the day as it is and roll with the punches.
The wind calmed down, but it rained during the entire ceremony. We made sure everyone was armed with clear umbrellas. It was beautiful to witness how a minor inconvenience turned into a special way for the whole group to bond as all the guests pulled together to help Meghan & Tyler get married. The wind calmed down as Meghan & Tyler had their first kiss as a married couple. Miraculously, the sun came out they marched back down the aisle together and we had beautiful weather for the rest of the day!
Honestly, we just adored the guests; we have to give a shout-out to them. Every single guest had such a great attitude and was so supportive. What wonderful people you have in your lives, Meghan & Tyler!
Can you believe Meghan made her own wedding cake and cookies! She owns a bakery back in New York and we were so impressed with her skills.
With an after-party reception in Las Vegas, this group continued to party. They even hired a tattoo bus. Meghan & Tyler got matching tattoos of the ceremony site. The coolest! Many of their guests got their first tattoos, including the grandparents who got matching heart tattoos. Adorable!
At the reception, Tyler danced with Meghan’s daughter to the song ‘Thank God’ by Kane Brown and they sang the lyrics to each other. It was adorable. It was emotional. It was our favorite moment.
As you can tell this wedding is near and dear to our hearts — adventuring and braving the elements for this wedding day that turned out so stunning. We feel so blessed to have been on this journey with Meghan & Tyler. We wish you many more wild adventures together!
