Sunrise’s true elopement ceremony with Katie and Hunter was a beautiful day at Valley of Fire! At sunrise, you practically have the whole park to yourself, so we took pictures everywhere. Lots of love, laughter, and giggles with these two. Hunter & Katie are a true adventure couple and brought a change of clothes to go off on a hike immediately after the wedding. We love taking them around the park.

They hadn’t told their families yet that they were eloping so this was secret for a while. Immediately after the ceremony they were so emotional, and Hunter with a big smile said “Man, it’s going to be hard to keep this a secret!”

But Hunter and Katie actually had a failed relationship once before – in 6th grade! Hunter was Katie’s first kiss. After breaking up in 7th grade, we didn’t speak for 15 or so years. Fast forward, and Katie scrolling through Instagram, she noticed a familiar name…Hunter! What a great story to tell the grandkids.
