Jared and Morgan’s love story began in Dallas Texas through online dating, and their first date was an adventure all its own—complete with Mexican food, an offbeat art exhibit, and a little friendly competition at a local dive bar over a game of shuffleboard. (For the record, Morgan still holds the lead in wins!) Despite Morgan being more of a city girl and Jared leaning toward quiet Texas roots, they quickly realized their similarities ran deep. Both were raised in small Texas towns and shared a love for adventure and the outdoors. From ski boat summers on the lake to snow skiing in the mountains during the winters. Every adventure brought them closer—and ultimately led them to say “I do” in the stunning desert landscape of Valley of Fire.

We do want to mention the importance of using a reputable wedding company and trusted planner for your wedding day. Our team was setting up at the Visitor Center location before our wedding guests arrived. When another wedding party arrived thinking they had a permit to have their wedding at the same location. The wonderful park Rangers verified they did not have permits and kept the wedding party from going into our reserved wedding area. Come to find out, the couple had been scammed by a company who had told them they booked the permit, and they could just show up and get married. Which obviously was not true. Could you imagine?! It was absolutely heartbreaking—and a worst nightmare scenario for any couple. We truly felt for them and wished we could do more in that moment.

Now back to Morgan & Jared’s wedding day— because we know you want to hear about the details! Everything went smoothly for our guests. It was a gorgeous day, beautiful couple and a lovely ceremony. We absolutely adored the classy chic décor set against the rugged desert landscape. It was the perfect reflection Morgan envisioned a “city girl falls in love with a country boy” kind of vibe, and it came to life in the most stunning way!

Our florists at Front Porch Flowers truly knocked it out of the park with these stunning floral arrangements! The sweet pink florals attached on top of elegant gold pillars created a dreamy arch that beautifully contrasted the rugged red rock backdrop—it was the perfect pairing and made such an elegant statement. An added bonus? The arch was made of separate pieces, allowing it to be repurposed for the reception décor as well. A smart, budget-friendly choice that adds serious value and style!

Morgan’s mom sent us heirloom fabric from her grandmother’s dresses. The fabric was lovingly used to wrap the bride’s bouquet. It was a sweet, sentimental detail that carried generations of love into the ceremony. We love a personal touch that is so simple, but yet can mean so much. Morgan looked gorgeous in her beautiful smile, wavy curls, stunning gown and long veil.

During their vows Morgan said that she always felt she never needed a man, but it wasn’t until she met Jared that she realized what she needed was a partner. Oh dear, got us crying again! We are so happy for Morgan and Jared, that they found their perfect partner to share in life together. Congrats to you two! We wish you all the best and many more years filled of adventure and love!
