New Yorkers Las Vegas Destination Desert Wedding at Valley of Fire

Juliana and Robert are two of those fun people you want to get to know. The minute we met them on Skype we loved them. There was so much happiness, joy, and excitement in their faces. They were in love, and that feeling was palpable. And they wanted to get married in the Vegas desert! Only fun loving excitement craving people do that! Planning a wonderful, lovely wedding in the desert with family and friends who flew across the coast to celebrate this wonderful day was a joy. Juliana and Robert hail from fabulous New York, and we were so excited to show them our neck of the woods, the fabulous Valley of Fire, which is such a different place than NYC! We think this Valley is like no other. The red cliffs, the sandstone rock formations of Seven Sisters, and the clean air, with flying hawks, and all kinds of breezes freshening the air. Always amazing scenery for a wedding.

This couple had a very unique element in their ceremony. When we say “tie the knot” we usually mean it in a figurative way. Juliana and Robert really tied the knot! They had a big thick rope and as part of the ceremony tied it to bind them and their love as they said I do! We loved it, it was very fun, very touching as well. I don’t know how and why it happens, but of course, some of us (Lory) had to wipe away a tear or two from that ceremony.

We also were able to have Carmen of Sweet Sauce Coffee help with our event. Of course, a simple charcuterie and a coffee bar never go wrong with hungry, thirsty people! The food looked delicious! And we had lovely music from our talented violinist, and beautiful flowers to make everything just so elegant and lovely. Juliana even had a cactus tucked into her bouquet! Cactus decor was also seen in the cupcakes made by our talented bakery, Peridot Sweets. And that cake! Yum. Yum. Yum. This couple had it all that day!

We want to thank Juliana and Robert for choosing us to help bring their dreams to the desert. We loved doing that, and we loved them. May their married life be long and wonderful and we offer the best of our happiest wishes to follow them as they go forward.
