A Forever Kind of Love at Valley of Fire | Alice and Adi | Las Vegas Wedding

They say fate can deal many hands. Some good, some not so good. But sometimes, as happened recently in Las Vegas, two people can be dealt a winning hand. Not the gambling kind of hand, but the hand of love. Alice and Adi are two such people. Fate brought Alice and Adi together, so full of love and dreams. But Alice and Adi have experienced both sides of fate, the good kind, and the not so kind, kind of fate. They have been through what some people would call, the Refiner’s Fire. A fire that is so hot, so intense, it burns away those weak things in its path. Those kinds of fires require a strength to overcome that comes from holding on to each other, from living through some very tough days. The thing about that is, once you have walked that path, nothing can stop you. Nothing can ever hold you back again. You have survived the fire. The love that is forged in days like that, we like to call a “Forever Kind of Love.” It is the kind of love that overcomes anything in its path. The kind of love that is formed when two people go through hard times together. There is a special feel to that kind of love. It has been tried and is true. True love is the kind of stuff movies are made of, books are written about, and about which poetry is penned. True love is a forever kind of love, like Alice and Adi’s love.

Together with Alice and Adi, Cactus and Lace Weddings planned to create a special day for these two special people. This day was for just the two of them. A special time between two people who have walked this particular path together. We loved this couple, we were in awe of their love and sheer determination and grit to overcome. We celebrated them and had a marvelous, wonderful, truly amazing day in the spectacular purple and pink sands of Rainbow Vista, in Valley of Fire, Nevada. Alices’ lovely gown was so soft, flowing, and romantic, in a shade of soft gray with slight whisper-soft blue undertones. Adi wore a deep blue tux to complement. This couple was chic and so amazing. Every detail was thought of, even Adi’s custom pocket watch, and Alice’s silver leaf hair accessory. Everything about them was perfect.

Even though it was just the two of them, Alice did want her bridesmaids -in-spirit to be with her so we had a floral hoop made with their pictures around it. And we also had a bit of a surprise for Alice and Adi – some notes of congratulations from loved ones to read in the solitude of the desert on their wedding day. So even though they were eloping, they still had all their loved ones with them in spirit. It was truly a day to remember for this destination wedding of our UK couple.
