Something we get more of at Cactus and Lace Weddings is style from our UK couples. They make the trip to fabulous Las Vegas because of the fun, must have the experience you get here. They search out Valley of Fire because of the style, class, and beauty to match their own. Michelle and Rory brought their closest family and friends to celebrate in their union. Michelle took everyone’s breath away as she stepped out of her limo. Seeing her for the first time in her wedding gown, Rory couldn’t help but flash a big dimpled grin. As she walked down to a guitarist, Michael Lucarelli, playing Elvis’ famous song, “Can’t Help Falling in Love” officiant Jason Gray helped them declare their love for one another with a special hand tying ceremony. With that, the sweet couple became husband and wife! With a hip-hip-hooray from the guests, hugs and high fives settled into a perfect intimate pizza dinner in the desert. Yukon Pizza is the most wonderful way to celebrate a recent marriage with us in the desert. Its fresh sourdough crust is baked to chewy, crisp perfection.
If you want an outdoor venue to stay out a little longer in the beauty of the desert, this state park is a great option! Every couple has a special vision of the decor they envision on their wedding day. Michelle and Rory wanted to feel at “home” in Valley of Fire. A living room setting where they could lounge about and enjoy a drink was a wonderful addition. The guests could kick up their feet and take in the spectacular views surrounding them. Also, a nod to their heritage was the thistle that was incorporated into their florals by The Front Porch Flowers. Although this thistle wasn’t the famous prickly, Scottish thistle – the national symbol of Scotland – this desert thistle made a great representation in its place. Planning a wedding from another, timezone, continent and culture can make for tragic results. Or you can choose our professionalism and well knowledge of overseas couples, to give you the wedding of your dreams. Michelle and Rory explored the beauty of Valley of Fire as they were followed by several cameras that captured their dancing in the desert, snuggles in the rocks, and kisses during the sunset. All special moments to couples who want to remember what it felt like when they were part of a dream.
Congratulations Michelle & Rory, we loved being a part of your special day!
