Sometimes love isn’t fireworks, sometimes love comes quietly and softly, but with its’ own strong heartbeat. Many couples aren’t looking for a loud occasion, where they are the center of attention. They crave the intimacy of close family and friends for such a beautiful and tender moment as becoming husband and wife. Valley of Fire provides just the perfect venue for intimate, outdoor weddings just as Ashlee and Ryle wanted.
Sharing in a quiet ceremony surrounded by the serene towering rocks that stand as sentinels through Valley of Fire, Ashlee and Ryle committed their love to each other. Sweet, and beautiful together. They couldn’t imagine getting married indoors. Ashlee and Ryle both are long-time Nevadans, and they knew the peaceful, yet exciting scenery in Valley of Fire was exactly where they wanted to say I do!
Choosing Cactus and Lace Weddings to plan, organize and photograph their wedding gave them a sense of ease knowing that although they were busy, they didn’t have to worry about every detail. Ashlee knew exactly what she wanted and it was a delight bringing her ideas to life. Although it was a warm, early October day, a celestial theme with starry-eyed moons and constellations of the night sky made an appearance. Also making an appearance were family and close friends who traveled the great state of Nevada to witness the union of Ashlee and Ryle. Sweet words brought misty eyes as officiant Amanda from Sandbox Weddings pronounced them husband and wife. Cheers and toasts from family told this couple how much they were loved, and how happy everyone was for them on this wonderful day. Ashlee had also hand made a lovely cape for her gown, just in case, the day turned cold. Carmen from Sweet Sauce Coffee provided a light charcuterie board for the guests. And Caked Las Vegas went above and beyond with custom geode style cupcakes, and a deliciously, creative cake decorated with a celestial constellation theme. We want to congratulate Ashlee and Ryle on their marriage and wish them many moons together!
