Warm breezes caress our hair, shifting desert sands roll under our feet, and exotic faraway destinations call us. With foods that tempt the palette and best of all, a vast desert before us, displaying a showcase for true love out in the wild beyond.
Where are we? A unique desert ranch location found near Las Vegas, Nevada- the wedding capital of the world – The Camel Safari Desert Ranch Wedding Venue!
For this wedding, we are not in the middle east, but rather just a short drive to the desert hills of Nevada, a brief drive outside the teaming bustling sounds and lights of that busy Vegas town. But this desert ranch venue has more than your fair share of wildlife, it is just a different kind of wildlife than you might find on the Strip. Camels, alpacas, and llamas roam this desert ranch oasis. Wildlife of the really grand, really big variety and more types than you ever would have dreamed possible at a wedding event. Cactus and Lace Weddings have teamed up with Camel Safari to plan an all-inclusive wedding for adventure-seeking couples. Camel Safari and their Desert Ranch Experience maintain accreditation as a Disney-approved vendor and certification from the Zoological Association of America. This all-inclusive wedding designed for you by Cactus and Lace Weddings provides coordination of hair and makeup, transportation, photography, officiant, food, and best of all the unique venue at Camel Safari. Something out of the ordinary, a great experience for guests, a day to always remember. Everything is taken care of in a one-stop-shop! You just show up with your guests or even just the two of you!
The experience is really a once in a lifetime, being able to touch a camel’s soft velvet nose, and have wedding pictures with dromedary friends, and other wildlife. Who would ever have dreamed it possible? But with friendly hosts from Camel Safari and the assistance of Cactus and Lace as coordinators, our couples can be married in front of an authentic Mongolian Ger, a similar structure to that of a yurt, with authentic hand-carved designs, imprinted on the door and featured throughout these unusual structures. Eat dinner with your guests, drink colorful mocktails, toast champagne, and feast on a variety of menu choices including a sumptuous Mediterranean inspired meal of shish kabobs, hummus, babaganoush, and colorful bright vegetables and salads or a variety of other deliciousness created by the certified chef on-site, Chef Josh. He even does kosher, vegan, and so on!
As the sun sets, enjoy sitting around a burning campfire with s’ mores chocolate melting in your mouth as you settle in for a quiet visit as the embers die down to soft crackles and pops, and the sounds of the river soothing away cares.
You may even rent the gers for overnight stays and a true glamping experience and wake up to a hearty catered breakfast. Contact us for more information to set up your wedding here at this amazingly beautiful place.
We thank our hosts at Camel Safari and our models CJ and Nayelys, Cora and Nate for spending a great day with us!
