Vanessa and Jose have known each other for 11 years and we were so honored when they chose us to help with their wedding! And guess what, we at Cactus and Lace Weddings have been waiting for years for a special event as well. What have we been waiting for? MARIACHIS AND A TACO TRUCK !!! So when Vanessa and Jose decided to have both tacos and mariachis at their wedding we were all ecstatic! Yelling and jumping around the shop like crazy women! We just love when a couple makes this day something memorable and meaningful to them.
You can imagine the energy levels and happy vibes that come along with mariachi music. It was an instant energizer when they started playing and singing. Just the best kind of music to listen to while having tacos, something fun, and low-key. Even our officiant Alejandro from Peachy Keen was seen grooving and bobbing to the music. Add Tacos and a legit taco truck to the event and what a fun day! Vanessa and Jose’s personalities are very family-oriented and happy. Together they have a quiet love between them that is constant and true. They wanted a relaxed and fun day for their family and they wanted us to pull out all the stops to have a wonderful day at Valley of Fire, NV and that is just what we did!
Not to be left out from all the fun, and who decided they had to tag along were their two Weiner dogs, Dachshunds to the rest of us. They were adorable and we played with them every chance we got. They even got in a few portraits with the family as well. Valley of Fire allows pets as long as they are leashed and well behaved, as these two were.
One thing that stood out to us as we photographed the wedding was how well coordinated and lovely the guests looked. They were some of the best dressed and wedding color-matched guests we have seen so far! How does that happen!
Jose and Vanessa, we loved having you with us and we are honored to have been able to plan a day that was special to you! Best wishes and many happy years ahead!
