On one of the hottest days in Vegas, Kara and Ian were married in front of a small group of friends and family. And there was a rumor that they were united in marriage by none other than Elvis herself as the officiant.
Kara and Ian were brought together by a mutual friend at a different wedding. Ian was nudged to ask Kara out and that started the ball rolling. Kara lived in Kelowna BC and Ian was from the UK, but they began a long distance relationship with some flying back and forth until one day that important question was popped and the real wedding planning began in earnest. Kara did not want a big wedding, she tried her best to keep it small. Even so, she was a great hostess because she did all the right things to help her guests enjoy the day. There was Elvis the officiant, Trixie the Mobile Bar, and even Yukon pizza to fit the bill.
Ian looked great and Kara was stunning in her Jackson Rue de Seine dress and fiery red long hair. Kara owns a hair salon in Kelowna, and she looked amazing. On her bouquet was a very treasured ribbon which belonged to her grandmother, in memory. She wanted to keep the wedding ceremony light and funny, so she walked the aisle with female Elvis, who did a great job making the ceremony lighthearted and moving quickly. Kara also made the cutest Day of the Dead figurines of herself, Ian, and female Elvis, along with her sweet pets. Alongside the gorgeous Kara, they really stole the show.
This group was great, funny, and loved Elvis music. Every once in a while, a bunch of lads would launch into singing popular Elvis songs during dinner. And they sounded pretty good!
Kara and Ian we wish you the very best of best wishes and a long and happy life together! Congratulations!
