A Wedding to End All Weddings: Amanda & Terrance

We met Amanda way back when, as an officiant for us at Cactus and Lace! Over the years, she watched our weddings and all the plans we made for our brides. So we were beyond honored when she and Terrance, her love, became engaged and asked us to handle the wedding! Little did we know, this wedding would be the biggest and best yet. It would take volumes to detail all the events and intricacies of their wonderful wedding day, but suffice it to say, as an actress and performer, Amanda called on many performing friends who gladly volunteered many of the weddings’ services; a friend served as officiant, we had death defying flaming swords being swallowed at night, hauntingly beautiful live music from an amazing quartet, a luxury porta potty-yes, really! Bartending, delicious food of all kinds, a funny custom goat head cake, as well as a real live goat hand selected for friendly amiability by planner Amanda Monk, shuttles going back and forth from hotel to the couple’s home where the wedding took place, a coffee bar, special event lighting, fireworks, and so much more. It was a long time planning and we were thrilled to see it all happen with such fun, and joy.

This wedding took place outdoors on a patio Terry built himself, at their beautiful home. As guests viewed the lovely Mojave desert with the sun setting on the beautiful Spring Mountain Range in the background, they said their vows. We can’t express how lovely and fun it was to be there with these two wonderful friends of ours.
