It seems that Rebecca and Derrick were destined to be together. A recent elopement at Valley of Fire united this couple who had dated in high school, married others, and then through a tender heartache of each losing their spouses, found each other again after 18 years.
A Brand New Life
Healing each other, this couple was a beautiful testament that true love can happen even after hard circumstances. Blending their two families at Valley of Fire, this couple pledged to honor and love each other as they began a new adventure with love and commitment to creating a new life together.
Derrick loves Rebecca and bought a cabin for them last December. Their love of nature came in handy as Derrick created a unique log wedding arch and hauled it to the Valley of Fire. Married in front of this rustic arch, with the towering red cliffs of the visitor center behind them, this couple sealed the deal with a kiss! We are so happy for them and their new family and wish the very best for them.
We love creating a special day for special people here at Cactus and Lace Weddings! Whether large or small and intimate, it is our joy to plan customized outdoor destination weddings. We were honored when Derrick and Rebecca chose us to help bring that about! Congratulations to the newlyweds!
