Hey there!
We are so excited to introduce you to one of our newest married couples. We can not tell you how excited we are to be able to begin weddings again! And Brandi and Matthew were such a fun couple to add to that beginning fall season!
It is so fun for us to see and feel the personalities of each couple as we work with them planning the wedding, and also the day of the wedding. In Brandi and Matthew’s case, they were very happy and down to earth and a lot of fun to be around.
Tradition often allows for the couple to give each other small gifts before the marriage. Brandi wanted to give Matthew a gift that would help him remember this day, and what better way than a watch! Brandi had also requested getting ready photos with our photographer at the hotel. We love that! It is so fun to see those photos and sometimes when looking at those images, you can feel the anticipation before a wedding. We would say about every couple has a few nerves beforehand, but that goes away pretty fast when we get to Valley of Fire! That is the best place there is to calm down the pre-wedding jitters!
Brandi and Matt decided not to see each other prior to the ceremony and many brides choose to ride out in separate vehicles to achieve that. And Brandi was a very down to earth bride, she loved wandering around barefoot almost the entire time! She said she just felt more comfortable that way, and we get that! (Someone writing this blog is barefoot even now!)
Carmen of Sweet Sauce Coffee worked her lovely magic with a charcuterie dinner and cocktails. Our guests love Carmen’s food and magic deliciousness skills. Carmen often handles cocktails for couples who want mixed drinks at their wedding. And did you know that this couple did a champagne spray for their wedding that was like watching fireworks bubble out of a bottle! No champagne bottles were injured in the photographing of this event! Nor guests either! The weather was perfect, warm, a little breeze, and plenty of sunshine for everyone! And that Matthew was a champ during pictures, he was really great about lifting Brandi for pictures, not once but a few times, and that got us all smiling at his patience and putting up with those crazy Cactus photographers!
We loved this day and loved seeing the joy and happiness from all of their friends as they all celebrated the wedding of this very sweet couple!
May you both always remember Valley of Fire and the wonderful guests and family who came to celebrate with you. Best wishes!
