If you’re dreaming of a wedding that truly captures your adventurous spirit, the Valley of Fire is the ultimate destination. It’s nestled just outside of Las Vegas, in the vibrant desert landscape of red rock sandstone formations and incredible desert views of rugged mountains and wildlife. For Pauline and Chris, the Valley of Fire wasn’t just a breathtaking backdrop – it was a special place filled with memories. This was the spot where they first camped together and fell in love. Being the perfect location for an unforgettable wedding day.

They arrived at the Valley of Fire separately, Chris in a button down white shirt with tan suspenders and navy blue plaid pants. We loved his relaxed casual look! Pauline wore a sleek satin A-line wedding gown and cathedral length veil with tulle flowers. Simple, yet beautiful!

The two shared a private first look and exchanged personal vows before their ceremony began. Surrounded by only a few close family members and their bridal party, Chris requested that the music be turned up, ensuring their vows remained intimate just between the two of them. It was a beautiful, quiet moment where they shielded themselves from the world, lost in each other’s love as the desert breeze swirled around them. The touching moment perfectly captured the genuine, quiet connection they shared before stepping into the next chapter of their lives.

Pauline and Chris’ vision for their big day was simple: a rustic, casual, and chic celebration surrounded by the natural beauty of the Valley of Fire to capture their love for the outdoors and nature. They chose a color palette of sage green, ivory, white, peach, terracotta, with wood tones and gold accents bringing it all together in a stylish yet relaxed way.

Instead of a large formal gathering, they created a more intimate and relaxed casual atmosphere that allowed them and their guests to connect with each other and the stunning surroundings. Some guests hiked around taking in the spectacular views and some played croquet or took Polaroid photos for the guestbook. They loved the fresh sourdough pizza, amazing spread for the charcuterie and open mobile bar from a camper trailer serving custom drinks. We think the camper trailer was the perfect fit for the wanderlust couple. All while the guitarist added to the ambiance. Their wedding was lively and lighthearted, filled with laughs and good vibes as friends and family enjoyed the day together. A true reflection of their love for the outdoors, with a casual chic vibe that perfectly matched their fun and relaxed personalities.

We absolutely loved how Pauline’s sweet personality and chic style complemented Chris’s casual and fun-loving spirit. Together they make the perfect pair with an energy and love that is truly unmatched.

Some of the décor details we absolutely adored included the rustic wood garden arch, draped in chiffon fabric and adorned with a gorgeous floral arrangement. There were even wooden flowers added to the florals as well which added a beautiful rustic element. The bench seating made for a relaxed casual vibe, while the luxurious velvet chairs brought a touch of elegance. The chic champagne tower was a trendy addition and also made for some fantastic photos. And of course we can’t forget the cake! This cake was a grand, three-tiered beauty and impressive as it was delicious!

Their cake cutting was hilarious and had us all in laughter. Pauline was waving the cake knife around, then Chris pulled out a pocket knife holding it up behind her back and causing the guests to burst out laughing. They even had a little mishap with dropping their cake slice, but it only made the moment more fun and they cut another slice.

The guests lingered a bit longer while Pauline and Chris took couples portraits in the golden glow of the desert sunset. Chris being a true adventurer, was especially excited about the views and wanted the majestic mountains captured in every shot. So very cute!

From the beautiful desert landscape of the Valley of Fire to the fun-filled moments and intimate vows, their wedding was a true reflection of their love story — one that started in the great outdoors, camping at the Valley of Fire and continues to grow with every new adventure they take together. Congratulations Pauline and Chris! Here’s to many more years of laughter, adventure, and love! Lots of love, The Cactus and Lace Team
