We were so excited to have our own Rachel, engaged to be married just a few short months ago! After a whirlwind courtship, and even quicker engagement, Rachel and her love Timothy tied the knot in the beautiful, otherworldly Cathedral Gorge in the wilds of central Nevada. With soaring cliffs, carved with linear wind worn patterns, this place was ethereal and lovely, just as our Rachel was on that day. Her stunning dress was really out of this world, and the Gorge was a perfect setting to highlight that. With a crown of flowers accenting her vivacious natural beauty, Rachel was gorgeous.

Rachel and Timothy share so much in common, and Cathedral Gorge met all the criteria for their wishes of a unique out of this world natural wonder as a place to host a wedding and small reception for a few of their family and close friends.

Rachel, as a seasoned wedding planner, knew just what she wanted her wedding to be. Sunny, Kayla, and Torrey were on hand to bring the day to life under Rachel’s directions. With different hues of blues, dark, light, and in between, she paired those colors with soft pinks, peaches, and soft sage greens to create a lovely contrasting look in her decor. Geometric patterns popped up here and there inviting interest and movement in her table settings. Colored blue glass pops added a shimmering highlight as well. Rachel had her hair and makeup done by Ruby Finch’s Arlethe, who drove clear out to Panaca! Our floral vendor, The Front Porch Flowers, went all out and did a smashing job! Rachel was delighted! And not to take the cake but our delicious cake was absolutely stunning with blue marbling and fluted edges, our thanks to Ricky and CakedLV for that absolutely scrumptious monument!

With the ceremony officiated by Amanda, of Jubilee Occasions, Rachel was escorted down the aisle by her son Pirate. Rachel and Timothy’s children were present, and seem to have the wonderful bond of love and sibling friendship already. Really! Truly! It was so fun to watch them as they listened to their parents read their vows of love and promises to each other. We all happy cried, and cried; and Lory even cried more. With wedding photography being covered by Lory and Kayla, it was a joyful, jubilant day for all of our team at Cactus and Lace!

It touched our hearts deeply to see Rachel so lovely, and happy, and ecstatic on her day, and we send best wishes that she and Timothy always share that joy together. All of our love and cheers to your hopes and dreams coming true, Rachel and Timothy.
