Chicago Cubs and a Las Vegas Wedding | Kristin and Tom

“We both met in Chicago and dated for about a year and a half. Tom got a promotion with the same company out in Las Vegas. We did the long-distance thing for about another year and a half and ended up splitting up. Thankfully, a year and a half later the Cubs beat the St. Louis Cardinals in the playoffs and I had to reach out to him because I knew that he would be just as excited as I was. He told me that he was so happy to hear from me – that he still loved me and missed me.”

And so it goes, score another hit for the Cubs! Who would have guessed that the Cubs winning the World Series would bring a couple of loyal fans together again for a rekindled romance. Kristin and Tom reconnected, and soon after the game, things were getting serious. They got engaged in the Spring, in March, and Kristin decided to move to Vegas soon after Tom popped the question. One year and a half later, Kristin and Tom tied the knot, and three days later, they moved back to Chicago! Lotta moving and shaking going on with this cute couple!

We loved hearing their wonderful story, love knocks it out of the ballpark again! Besides baseball, Kristin’s favorite thing about Tommy? “I love his calmness, sense of humor, his knowledge of every word to Steel Magnolias, and my ability to feel 1000% comfortable being myself around him. He’s also a rock I know I can lean and depend on.” Tommy’s favorite thing about Kristin: “How we always find a way to laugh together.”

Their wedding day was about as good as it gets out in the desert, lots of sunshine and the Valley of Fire desert really put on a show for this couple and their families. Kristin looked so lovely. Tom will agree we are sure! These two were a bunch of fun, and we had a great time with them! Of course, Chicago is hard to beat, so we understand why they moved back.
