Recently, it was our pleasure to host and plan the wedding of Gabriella and Brady! Gabriella had some really great ideas for decor that we loved. For starters, she loved the crescent arch we created, and had her own particular spin, bringing in disco balls as props! These two decor pieces were so enchanting, there was a bit of magic stirring out in the air out in Valley of Fire.
Best ever pick up line!
These two were so in love, and their love story is a bit hilarious really… want to know more? Lean in! When they met, Brady, ever the tease, asked Gabriella if she wanted to see his teeth collection. Now we have heard all kinds of opening lines but that one was a first. And on social media no less. Gabriella was a little bit nervous, since most people who have collections like that were listed on the FBI 10 most wanted, serial style. But then she found out he was a dentist and soon it began to make perfect sense.
What to do about writing those wedding vows.
We love it when couples write vows to each other, but this time, Gabriella and Brady had run out of time to get that done. Our officiant, Roland, of Mobile Minister was not going to let them get off scot-free. He cajoled and teased until finally, they said their vows right there on the spot, completely unrehearsed. And guess what? They were truly heartfelt, poignant, and quite hilariously touching.
Disco balls at at a desert wedding?
There were so many cute decor points as well, from the flowers and cake to the beautiful decor and furniture settings. Our favorite of course, is the crescent arch, with the sparkling disco ball accents. Deliciously different! And we were so happy to again work with one of our preferred videographers, Madison Rhoton!
Gabriella and Brady, we loved every minute! We loved you both, and wish you the very best of wishes! Congratulations from all of us at Cactus and Lace Weddings!
