Sara and Andres eloped on a beautiful spring day in late February. With the smell of fresh rain on the sagebrush, the rocks and desert of Valley of Fire boasted their deep red colors after a well-rested, long winter.
Tucked against the backdrop of the historic Valley of Fire Cabins, they exchanged their intimate words of love and partnership with Pastor Jason Gray officiating their ceremony. Crisp breezes carried their words of commitment, hopes, and future dreams to each other.
Eloping with us is a beautiful, simple and most of all, easy experience whether you live across the states or across the globe. Bringing together the magic of the day for these two was a dream. They hadn’t seen each other in months, Andres had been stationed in South Korea. It was beautiful to see their connection after a long separation. Through emails, we began to build the elopement and moments of celebration they were looking for. A simple, elegant arch was on the list and the magic of the Cabins at Valley of Fire. Through our simple elopements, we let the beauty of Valley of Fire become your main decor. Instead of feeling rushed, we followed Sara and Andres through natures stairs, podiums, and steps to capture their most lovely moments together. Andres had a surprise for Sara! He brought along some sports team memorabilia. he had made with their new married names emblazoned on the back. Custom made jerseys from their favorite team, the Miami Hurricanes. We love when couples bring in their own style.
Speaking of style, Sara and Andres had it in spades! Sara was the epitome of lovely in her beautiful, sheer, fitted lace wedding dress. With hair swept up in a classic fashion up-do, she had a sweet cutwork design on her gown which was highlighted as she turned around! Something we always recommend to brides who elope with us is allowing us to add a fresh floral bouquet from The Front Porch, as well as allowing us to arrange for the beauty specialists of Ruby Finch Salon come to your hotel room. Sara’s make-up and hair were flawless and breathtaking. More than that, though, we could see what Andres was seeing in Sara. She felt beautiful. Her clear, beautiful eyes were on full display. Was it seeing her love Andres that reflected in her soul? We are going to say that it was. Andres brought it all! The love, the tender, protective looks he gave her, and the excitement that came with marrying Sara. We knew without a doubt that she was the love of his life.
Although elopements are noted to be fast, spontaneous, and for the most part unplanned, we are able to handle it with ease. And the sweet memories created on that day will last a lifetime.
