What do they say? ‘Those who work together, stay together!’ This is true for our Bride and Groom, Kelly and Matt. Their journey from coworkers at a bank in the UK to soulmates married in Las Vegas is a perfect beginning. After being together for 6 years and then an engagement in Alaska, they chose the Valley of Fire for their destination wedding and a beautiful union.

Kelly and Matt arrived together at their desert wedding location in a Tesla with falcon wing doors. The couple stepped out and were both so calm and ready to get married. We loved their kind, quiet demeanor and good vibes.

Kelly was dressed elegantly from head to toe! With her long flowing veil, pearls embellished throughout, her form-fitting satin gown accented her beauty and butterfly wing block heel sandals to finish off her elegant look. While Matt’s stylish double-breasted vest dark suit and terracotta tie with a classic vintage look reflected his charm.

Their wedding in beautiful fall colors was the perfect start to our fall wedding season. Decor giving an elegant boho feel which matched our couple perfectly. The double triangle wood arch florals sure made a statement and were absolutely stunning. Roses and flowers in rich hues of terracotta, rustic burnt orange, tan, cream and a touch of yellow. With green foliage, orange leaves and dried pampas grass florals for boho vibes.

We gave our guests dried yellow rose petals with eucalyptus leaves cones to be thrown as confetti after the couple was pronounced husband and wife. It makes for an extra joyful moment and fantastic photos!

However, using eco friendly confetti is the only way we do it at the Valley of Fire state park. Although the confetti is biodegradable, we like to leave the desert better than we found it and always clean up the confetti after the wedding.

The custom details added to their wedding decor was a nice unique touch. Kelly sent us sage green monogrammed fans for their guests with their wedding date. She also had a custom wood cake topper made as well to top their simple 2 tier wedding cake. Also, a custom round wood ring box! We really appreciate and love all the little details that make a wedding personalized to our Bride and Groom. It really adds so much.

Kelly requested a memorial yellow rose for Matt’s mum as she sadly passed away just a couple years prior. The sweet gesture to symbolize her being with them in spirit on their wedding day. The yellow rose is a special reminder of her as they get yellow roses on her birthday or special occasions. We placed it in the front row seat of their ceremony. We thought this was so very thoughtful of Kelly.

What a beautiful celebration of Kelly and Matt’s love. A small intimate wedding with few guests allowed everyone to truly savor the moments with one another. They delighted in an aesthetically pleasing charcuterie board, red velvet cake and toasts! During toasts Matt gave his heartfelt gratitude as he raised his glass saying “Thanks for coming such a long way. Cheers!” Few words but they resonated deeply, for all who traveled from the UK to witness their marriage. We’d like to add to that, cheers to the happy couple as they embark on this new chapter of their lives together! We wish you all the best and happiness in your travels and life ahead. All our love, The Cactus and Lace Team
