Warm fall days and crisp Nevada nights make October one of the best months to get married at Valley of Fire. An outdoor destination wedding in a spectacular place like Seven Sisters there makes it easy to bring a brides’ dreams to life.
Kayla and Kyle had met about 5 years ago and knew they each were the best match. When Kyle proposed, he was really prepared. He had designed the ring himself and figured out the most beautiful place to pop the question, the San Antonio River Walk. She had no clue, and he had hidden the ring in his pocket. She said YES! and the planning began with these two wanting to get married in Valley of Fire. That is where we came in, and when we chatted via video link, what immediately stood out was Kayla’s love of rich bold colors. For her wedding, she wanted beautiful fall colors, deep oranges, pops of teal, rusts, sage green, and tones of autumn. Set among the red cliffs of the Valley of Fire, her wedding exploded with beautiful rich color, especially our florals from the Front Porch Flower Shop. Adding to that, our teal cake and cute cactus cupcakes really stole the show.
We added acrylic signs which brought a classic look, and cactus which added a boho feel. Macrame by Daniela had designed a macrame piece to go in front of the sweetheart table and we loved the all-over natural look.
Our couple was married by Judy Irving of Wedding Vows Las Vegas, with each saying vows that really touched the hearts of the other. After the ceremony, Kayla and Kyle had secured Ray Ray’s catering for a classic Italian meal, with antipasto, salad, main courses, bread, and we have to say, no one goes away hungry from a dinner catered by Ray Ray. Bar services were happily provided by Carmen of SweetSauce Coffee, one of our favorite bartenders. And afterward, a quick photoshoot had been arranged in downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street area.
It was a beautiful day, with family and friends surrounding these two. It was an absolute joy creating a lovely day for them. Best wishes and much love from us at Cactus and Lace Weddings! Congrats!
