Here at Cactus and Lace, we have seen the rise of one thing this fall. Locals! Las Vegas locals are staying closer than ever to their beloved Nevada desert during these Covid times.

Caitlyn and Danny live, work, and raise their three kids right in the heart of Las Vegas but wanted something outside the city limits to get married.

We love locals and are so happy to connect them with a closer circle of family and friends. Here at Cactus and Lace, we have been giving couples near and far the desert wedding of their dreams. It is lovely that we have specialized in intimate and micro weddings for the past 6 years.

Danny and Caitlyn’s big day came when the time was right for them and not right in the world. The world can be falling apart but these two have a love growing stronger and stronger! With their parents (check out a special memorial tribute for Caitlyn’s late father) and three children, it was important all be a part of their parents’ big day! They celebrated in style with a custom arch made by Modern Vintage Rentals, just for them. As if a custom arch with us wasn’t enough, the amazingness continued with the cool and eclectic tunes of Marlon Dasoul. Imagine this- an amped-up DJ who plays along with the classic sound of his violin. It’s definitely something guests will talk about! With first dances, family portraits, a pizza reception catered by Yukon Pizza, and the sweetest toast made by Danny this amazing wedding was complete. During this time in history, we are reminded again and again of the amazing people on the front lines like our bride. She works at two different Las Vegas hospitals/medical centers! We are reminded to find the crazy joy of wearing a wedding ring and most especially we remember what really matters – To do the thing that makes you happy with the people you love!
