Long Distance Love at Valley of Fire | Laura and Kevin

We love to have Vegas locals elope to Valley of Fire for a wedding! It seems more and more, our clients are coming from all over the world to get married in Las Vegas, and specifically with us out in Valley of Fire. So when we get a “local” couple, we are ecstatic! Laura and Kevin might be considered part international though, as Laura moved to the US just a few months ago from Germany. Kevin’s dad was military and Kevin was born in Germany but grew up in the states. He was traveling back to Germany to visit his mom’s family, and who was working at the German airport? Yes, you guessed, Laura! One thing led to another and they decided to get married after a long, long, long distance courtship, even though the Pandemic.

So taking the plunge, Laura and Kevin, along with 5 guests, called on Cactus and Lace Weddings to handle their elopement. This couple was so sweet and their love was so evident to us. Originally, they had to overcome a few odds, and in Vegas, usually, the house wins! But this time, it was Laura and Kevin that won. It was a beautiful day, warm and breezy for an early spring. Always up for kisses, this couple was a sure bet on love. Kevin even had some lovely red lips courtesy of Laura’s lipstick! Oh and check out the cute cake from CakedLV! Don’t you love cake? We do!
