Morning in the desert has a special light, bright and saturated with golden tones. It was a perfect backdrop for this pretty in pink and blue tones wedding.
The couple had known each other since high school but went their separate ways and only got together later in life. Jen knew that it was love before Josh knew. There was a night back in 2016 when they were hanging out with friends after an event and everyone there knew Jen had eyes on Josh. Joshua had no idea. Jen kissed Josh that night, and she told him she loved him. The rest is history.
With an adventurous proposal, Joshua proposed to Jen on a hot air balloon in September of 2021. So an adventurous wedding ceremony wedding in the desert was the perfect choice for this couple.
Under a gorgeous floral decor for the arch, fresh flowers climbed up one side; Joshua waited for Jen as her two sons walked her up the aisle with just a few family and friends.
With such a rich and long history between them, they had much to say in their personal wedding vows. The sweet sentiments of their vows were so heartfelt and emotional. Joshua had a tear run down his cheek as Jen talked about his greatly positive impact on her life and how grateful she is to have him.
Photographing Jen and Josh’s portraits in the brilliant morning light was a joy. Not only because morning time is not usually when we are out there, but also because Jen and Joshua were so very sweet together. We wish you a long and happy life together!
