The desert is our home turf and so naturally our photography is almost always during the day and outside with natural light. It creates this dreamy, light, and airy effect. So we were filled with excitement and pleasure to be asked to participate in this indoor, moody lit stylized shoot with a dark romantic theme. Totally opposite of our normal so imagine our excitement at getting to photograph such a different style and setting.
And as we are usually the planners, stylists, and photographers for our desert weddings, it was so relaxing to just photograph and let Lindsay of P3Events handle all the details. She did an amazing job choosing vendors and creating a style to inspire couples for the fall! I know we certainly are!
The mood was set with fantastic lighting! Shadows danced across surfaces as candles provided warmth and ambience set for the season. We watched as fantastic drinks turned into wisps of breath right before our eyes. Weddings have become more about personal style rather than social norms. Do it your way is the new normal and if that means a black wedding dress with a sultry vibe, yes!
