Only One More Day | Tamara and Michael

A simple quiet desert sunset, a beautiful rainbow-colored vista stretching for miles, a friend or two to witness the event, and we have a wedding that has everything a couple could ask for, just in a small package!
Tamara and Michael had known each other for a while, rubbing shoulders at work, then becoming fast friends. Over time, they grew closer, until one day. “Michael called me. I was away visiting family and he picked up that phone to call and tell me,” he missed her very much! Six years together now, they were planning a post-CoVid getaway. They discovered while jokingly talking about Vegas weddings while planning their trip here, that the wedding capital really could be beautiful without Elvis, and that’s where Cactus and Lace came in! Tamara already had Michaels’s great grandmother’s heirloom wedding ring, which fit perfectly by the way! They were set!
We remember so many lovely moments from this wedding, but our favorite moment was the sweet words they spoke during the ceremony…
During Michaels’s vows he said, ” If I had only one more day left to my life, I would spend it with you.”
Tamara….”When we die and turn to atoms, I can’t wait until I find you again.”
Sigh. Isn’t that the most romantic of all vows!
