Megan and Cameron have been together since they were just 14 and 16 — a love story that started in their teenage years and blossomed into a lasting love. There’s something special about teenage sweethearts growing together through the years into a beautiful marriage.

For Megan and Cameron, marrying their best friend felt like the natural next chapter to their love story that was long in the making. After a romantic countryside proposal and a celebration in London, they chose Valley of Fire just outside of Las Vegas for their destination wedding. They also brought with them a glamorous group of loved ones that brought great energy from the start.

Vintage vibes was the overall style for this wedding. A color palette of soft sage greens, warm beige tones, with pops of red for a romantic, and elegant touch. We used some of our vintage furniture pieces, added a living room seating area and a wood triangle arch for the ceremony backdrop. The cake was a 90’s-style heart-shaped cake with piped edges. So very pretty and timeless! After the couple was joined together as husband and wife, the guests celebrated with cake, champagne toasts, and captured some fun moments with a polaroid camera.

Megan’s gown was an absolute showstopper and was giving vintage Vegas vibes. We were obsessed! She wore a dramatic dress with a long convertible overskirt that added a regal, sweeping look for the ceremony. It had flowing bows on the sleeves, beaded embellishments and she accented it with pearls for jewelry. Later during couples portraits, our jaws dropped as she removed the detachable skirt to reveal her sleek silhouette — perfect for fun, flirty photos that brought a more playful and relaxed vibe. We love a good two-in-one wedding dress, and Megan’s gown delivered both drama and versatility in the most stunning way. A true fashion-forward bride who embraced both elegance and fun — and looked absolutely radiant doing it.

The whole day felt effortless and was filled with laughter and love. Everyone just stopped to take in how beautiful it all was — the people, the place, the moments and the reason they were all there. Congratulations to the happy couple! We loved every bit of your wedding day. May your marriage continue to be full of joy, love and lots of laughter. With love, the Cactus and Lace Team.
