Oh my goodness! What a wedding this was! Our couple, Svea and Timothy, were such an amazing couple to meet and work with! As we collaborated on how they envisioned their wedding, one of the important things that came across was Svea’s love of flowers, nurtured by her father, an avid gardener, who grew many lovely varieties of flowers. So, of course, one of our hopes was to show her love for him by the incorporation of all the loveliest things that our wonderful florist had to offer us, especially in the colors of navy and blush pink, and in her favorite varieties.

Svea is quite talented and taught herself to sew. She taught herself to sew from the Internet. Amazing. She whipped up a beautiful, navy blue cape to go over her lovely gown. Tim is a brilliant creator and artist. He merges the world of art and the virtual world at a job he thoroughly enjoys. So it was fitting, that these two met at graduate school and thus began the beginning of this new family.

We loved learning about and displaying the treasures which were made by Svea’s great grandmother and great grandfather, who are of Northern European ancestry. She brought an amazing hand carved table her great grandfather had made, and a small detailed wooden box, all carved with skill and craftsmanship. His name and date are lovinglly inscribed on each piece. We loved being able to highlight them as part of the stylizing.

Svea and Tim were both so full of laughter and joy. It was our absolute delight to watch Svea as she sat next to Tim and watched for his smile. And he smiled quite often, laughing frequently as she spoke. It was obvious, Tim was part of her strength, her main man. And he knew it. He said he knew she loved him before she did. He was her best friend, the one she could lean on, someone she could trust. We could see that she was his sunshine, the one whose smile could light his own, and whose bright eyes are stunningly blue with a direct gaze to match his own.
