Holly and Richard are obsessed with Margaritas. Really. So when they decided to get married in the heat of the desert, and we mean heat, they decided to have Trixie’s Mobile Bar come to cool everyone off with a margarita. The day Holly and Richard in were married in Valley of Fire was a warm 112 degrees. Yes folks, we fry eggs on the Vegas sidewalks for fun in this kind of weather! It was hotter than h…. well, you get the idea!
They found us heating up over here at Cactus and Lace Weddings and the rest is history! We love doing elopements for our United Kingdom couples, they traditionally are way cool, dress to the nines in the classiest ways, and are just the best kind of people to rub elbows with, just like Holly and Richard.

After a couple gets married, we always love to know where they are going on their honeymoon. For this couple, they got married, and then stayed in the States going to all the haunted houses, corn mazes, spooky Disney, dark shadows, and so much more that they could fit in. What a cool honeymoon!
Speaking of shadows, Holly and Richard were just a shadow of their former selves. Between them, they had lost 20-50 pounds each. Working so hard to get healthy and lean, they didn’t tell many people. But they looked stunning, both of them. Holly had the cutest wedding dress with major sleeves, and she looked fabulous! But watch out, this girl’s dad had a great story to tell, he said he was probably the only father to be sued by his own daughter! You heard right! True Story! Apparently, when she was younger, she was driving her parents’ car. She got in an accident, and for the insurance to pay, she had to sue them! We loved that story!
