So we had a marvelous time this year, back in February, as Cactus and Lace Weddings held a stylized shoot for national and international photographers. The Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Convention comes to Vegas every year, and we held the workshop in our backyard, the Valley of Fire. It was a blast, from the very beginning, planning with ourselves and Rey of Light Seniors, featuring some stunning models, local to our valley, all the way to the end with an entire group of talented photographers we were privileged to rub shoulders with that day from all over the world. We make a party out of it, have a catered luncheon that is amazing, and have a great time eating cake at the end all together! That is a lot of deliciousness right there!
Part of doing shoots like this, is having other blogs and publications show interest and or publish our work and our workshops and weddings. We are always excited when that happens because the focus is on the work of the great many amazing photographers who attend as well as the many vendors who donate or charge close to nothing for their support and help to bring it all about.
