We met Julie and Alain on the day of their wedding. Alain arrived first in his limo, so that he would not see Julie in her beautiful, sassy wedding gown. She wanted it to be a surprise, and to see that look of love and wonder in his eyes as he saw her for the first time in her dress.
So we met Alain first. As he got out of the car, and said hello, we were so happy. His first comments were about her, how they met, how their love grew. We love it when a man loves and reverences that special woman in his life. And he did love and reverence Julie. We also could understand why Julie fell for this handsome French Canadian. What is it about a tall handsome man with a French accent and just a hint of silver hair at the temple? Wow, what a powerful combination. But also, his smile from ear to ear as he saw her come out of her limo for the first time in all her loveliness. She looked more beautiful in that moment than we could describe in words. So we started to photograph her, to show her sparkling personality, and her beauty shining out from her eyes in love for all the world to see. And him, looking at her in that way of his, his eyes and her eyes speaking to each other, in the only way possible, with love, light, and lots of smiles, embraces, and laughter.
Julie, you could not have looked lovelier, with your glowing smile, your eyes sparkling up at him. We were honored to spend time with you on your magnificent day. It truly was, our pleasure to create something which we felt added and enriched this beautiful wedding moment for you and Alain. We had searched for just the right location in the Valley of Fire, just the right touches, and just the right details which we felt spoke to us about your relationship and the love you both feel for each other. What a pleasure for us. Merci beaucoup a l’avance et bonne chance. Avec nos meilleurs voeux de bonheur!
