Recently, Cactus and Lace Weddings had the marvelous opportunity to create a wedding for a wonderful couple from Hong Kong. We planned and researched and coordinated and emailed; and all of us came up with a color palette that matched the Rainbow Vista area of Valley of Fire. With delicate cascading orchids and blush pink garden roses, the flowers from The Front Porch Flowers had the most beautiful pastel tones of pinks and purples, with leafy green accents. The bouquet, and accented table, and arch looked just right. Of course, no wedding is complete without a few treats and sweets, so Gimme Some Sugar– our wonderful bakery, whipped up some delectable and delicate cake pops and french macarons that were beautiful as well as yummy.

Harry and Minnie arrived in a fast and powerful Ford Mustang that Harry looked quite at home driving. A fitting vehicle for a desert landscape where real wild mustangs ran not so long ago. Minnie was so very lovely in her flowing gown and as she walked across the desert to where Harry was waiting, we could tell that he thought she looked stunningly beautiful. Harry has a little twinkle in his eye and a smile whenever he looks at Minnie. Tai from Makeup Now Vegas providing Minnie’s hair and makeup did such an amazing job with elegant beauty. We had strewn rose petals at the base of the arch to create a flower carpet for them as they spoke their vows to each other. Minnie was such a graceful bride as they stood together and were married by Angie of Peachy Keen Unions. We are honored and grateful to have been able to create a lovely wedding elopement for Harry and Minnie! Congratulations!
