We couldn’t have asked for a better weather day for this intimate micro wedding in the spectacular Valley of Fire. Our vivacious bride was gorgeous and had started the day with professional hair and makeup, we love to pamper those brides! One of her requests was also to have a first look with her dad, and we know that he was touched at seeing his daughter in her beautiful wedding gown. Then off to Valley of Fire as fast as possible so we could get this excited, cute, and sassy bride married! After a bit of a delay waiting for a guest to arrive, we put Elise in her fresh stunning floral crown and sent her down the aisle! Cory watched her walk towards him and we could tell he was as excited to get married as she was, even tearing up as she neared. We love that! Elise had gone the extra mile with writing her vows, she absolutely wanted them perfect and they were. Full of joy, tenderness, and emotion, Cory surely felt her love.
As Cory spoke his vows to Elise, it was straight from the heart with no notes. We don’t usually recommend that, grooms can get flustered up there, but Cory did great holding it together and telling Elise how much she meant to him, his eyes were locked on hers the whole time.
Our couple was so excited to have a really fun, happy disco vibe wedding. Low key, especially relaxing after sealing the deal, we pulled out all the stops for having a great day. Yummy donuts in lieu of cake, hot and fragrant pizza from Pizza Stone’d, and even darling cat cookies made in the images of Elise’s two fur babies. Elise had a wedding vision of 70’s disco vibes with a macrame arch, comfy living room setups, pampas grass, disco balls, and color tones of warm rust, oranges, browns, and creams. We even made a ’70s sunburst pattern in the floral arrangements on the sweetheart table. We loved Elise’s vision for her day, and had a bunch of fun making it happen for her and Cory!
We are so happy for you both! We know you will have a great life ahead, just remember to boogie on down- holding hands and hanging tight! All of our love from Cactus and Lace Weddings!
