Even with warm desert weather at Valley of Fire the dry heat makes the shade the perfect temperature and such was the day for Liz and Vik’s vibrant wedding.
Vik & Liz had not seen each other while they were getting ready that morning, they wanted to surprise each other at the ceremony. Tears were shead by all as the brides made their way down the aisle separately. So as Vik walked down the aisle, they saw each other for the first time. Liz’s best mate told us that Vik has never worn a dress or even fancy trousers. When she came out in a ball gown with sequins and a train; she definitely gave everyone the WOW factor.
Sweet and heartfelt personal vows were shared before the kiss and a shower of flowers rained down as Liz and Vik made their triumphant march back down the aisle as a married couple. The confetti cones, we personalized with a custom sticker as a nod to Liz and Vik’s fur baby, Harold. The sticker had an outline of their pup, saying “Let’s Pawty!” If there’s ever a time to be a little bit cheesy, it’s for a wedding…right?!
The couple’s playlist sounded in the background for a lovely vibe while the cake was cut, drinks were poured, charcuterie was eaten, and guests mingled. Vik even talked Liz into doing a first dance with her even though Liz was totally against it. (The peer pressure got to her! Haha!) It was sweet to see Liz surrender and melt into the moment.
Once we got Liz and Vik to ourselves for portraits – they were hilarious!! Vik was so tender with Liz. And we loved their sense of humor together! Super sarcastic and dry, we laughed so much! We talked a lot about how laughing is the key to a successful relationship. We wish you a long and happy marriage full of laughter, Liz & Vik!
