Love Story

From the day they met in 2019, Toni & Cody were inseparable and always wanted to be around each other. During the Pandemic, they packed the car to see the fall foliage at Acadia National Park. About 22 hours later, they made it to Acadia and instantly knew that Acadia would always hold a special place in their hearts. They made the trip again to see Acadia in the summer. They got up at 2:45am to see the sunrise at Cadillac Mountain and then headed to Beehive trail to do a crazy hike. Toni brought a selfie stick that also converts to a camera stand and when they got to an overlook; Cody set it up to take a picture. Little did Toni know that Cody had actually set his phone to video. While she did a few poses, Toni turned to find Cody was down on one knee holding the most perfect engagement ring. Toni was so shocked and so happy; all she could get out was “OMG Cody”. They both laughed because that was exactly what her mother would say. Since that engagement at Acadia overlooking, they have been on cloud 9 ever since.

We had a perfect continuation of that walk in the clouds for the wedding day at Valley of Fire. We had gorgeous weather and more beautiful overlooks to photograph. With a photo tour of serval areas of the park, including Fire Canyon and Gold Vista, we got to photograph all around the park.

Ceremony & Reception

Such a wonderful and loving group, we enjoyed the day of celebration with Toni & Cody closest friends and family. From a tear-jerker of a ceremony to the laughter-filled reception toasts; they all loved on Toni & cody. The Best Man talked about how Cody and him met Kindergarten; he had the whole group in hysterics with his story about how they would fart in cans!

With dancing and drinking from the ever-popular, Trixie’s Mobile Bar, they all had a blast. Thank you Toni & Cody for letting us be a part of the celebrations. We wish you many more joyous adventures! All our love from the Cactus and Lace Team!
