Weddings are Families in the Making

The making of a family is so personal and different for everyone. Jennifer and Giuseppe met almost 3 years ago through mutual friends and heard a lot about each other before actually meeting. When they did finally met, there was an instant connection and the typical cliche of love at first sight. Giuseppe proposed on a trip to Vegas right in front of the Bellagio! So returning to Las Vegas for a destination wedding from their home in New Jersey was a no-brainer. During the ceremony, Jennifer had a special gift for Giuseppe’s daughter during the vows, an engraved bracelet, blending this trio into a family.

Is Friday the 13th good luck or bad luck for a wedding?

We had little of both. Just a few “bad’ luck things in the execution of the details of the day, nothing huge. There are always a few little fires to put out on any wedding day. That’s why you want a wedding planner to be in charge so as the bride and groom you don’t have to deal with all those minor hiccups; we handle that for you!

But we totally lucked out with absolutely PERFECT weather! Could not have been better; a thin layer of clouds with temps in the high 70’s and no wind. I would like to custom order this weather for every wedding, please!

It’s all in the details

Guiseppe is ham and a half; consults with this couple were a blast. Because he’s a fan of Game of Thrones and other things like that, he joked about having those kinds of things at the wedding. So we got him a few extra surprise decor touches such as a sword on display, a mini ax to cut the cake, and horn goblets to fit the theme. We love adding in those few extra custom details for our couples to let them know how special they are to us.

Whenever we add our special mini horse friend, Summer, to a wedding she is always a hit. Her side saddle baskets were available for passing out beers and specially made Italian Semolina rolls, what else for our Italian couple. We LOVED the catering, Superior Event Services. Our first time working with them we were so impressed; they were high class and really did serve superior food.

And we can’t neglect to mention the bright green rented Corvette that Guiseppe was a little obsessed with. Made for perfect farewell portraits at sunset. Lucky us, with such amazing couples! Wish you all the best, with all our love, Jennifer and Guiseppe! xoxoxo!
