We are so excited to share Jade & Taylor wedding with you on the eve of the 4th of July, the day we celebrate the birth of our country. Especially since we have a few red, white and blue wedding decor details for this all-American love story.
Jade and Taylor first knew each other in high school. Taylor had asked Jade on a date back then but she was totally uninterested! He did catch her eye several years later while he came into her salon for a hair cut and she then claimed to her friends that day that I’d marry him someday. They went on our own first date a few years later and it wasn’t too long after that they were in love!
Saying their own vows during the inmate wedding ceremony here at Valley of Fire, they both had tears in their eyes while laughing and holding hands. Taylor mentioned in his vows that if we can make it through living in a tiny camper together for 4 months while they built a new house together, they can make it through anything! And we have to agree. We could see how they are truly each other’s best friends and they love being in each other’s company. Jade was all smiles and laughter the whole day and it was a pleasure to see how Taylor was her rock and comfort. We felt so blessed to have been able to prepare and spend their wedding day with them. The whole wedding group was welcoming and playful, hugs and laughter filling the desert air. We had a lot of fun with these guests. (See below the two gentlemen helping the bride and groom eat their cake – hilarious!)
Rich and classic velvet mixed with a boho feel, was a perfect blend for Talor and Jade’s wedding decor. They love the outdoors and we wanted to bring that to life for them with a few rustic elements like antlers and raw wood slices, while still keeping the look classic and elegant. What a joy it was for us to photograph these two gorgeous souls on their day of union with a decor that was a reflection on them and their love.
Congratulations, Jade & Taylor! We wish all the joy in the world.
