Chloe and Blair wanted a true western wedding, something with Victorian old west of the desert with a bit of a boho feel. Macrame, vintage lace and cow skulls as main decor pieces with upholstered vintage furniture became the vision we began working with. We loved creating this unique theme! And then Rachel got this crazy idea to have a real horse courtesy of Equus Ranch come to the wedding for pictures. Oh my goodness, the places Cactus and Lace Weddings can go to create a unique wedding! Luckily Chloe and Blair were on board with that, and it all began to come together wonderfully well!
Chloe’s stunning dress floored us when she stepped out of the limo; with a vintage lace look accessorized by victoria style high lace boots. Could not have been more perfect!
With a ceremony of laughter and tears of joy, we were thrilled that Pastor Pete of Elegant Vegas Wedding really went all out and wore a full western outfit to officiant the ceremony. The stories and laughter continued through dinner with SweetSauce Coffee serving drinks and Santana of RBBQ serving a rustic BBQ dinner. We can not say enough good things about how tender and amazing the dinner was. Absolutely delish! Tender smoked meats and corn on the cob – yes, please! We are always glad to have these two vendors with us! They are always willing to go the extra mile to help out and take great care of our guests. Thank you both!
Dream desert sunset portraits with Blair and Chloe after toasts and cake finished up the fabulous vintage western wedding, with everyone riding off into the sunset.
