Mia and David seemed like a normal, loving everyday couple when we first chatted to begin planning their wedding. They had a surprise proposal at Disney World and everything. That is until they mentioned getting married on October 31st!
It may not seem like a likely wedding day but for us here at Cactus and Lace Weddings, we were instantly intrigued. Of course, we love the normal, beautiful, soft romantic weddings, in fact, we perfected our look on those weddings and we still treasure them. But say you want a slightly moody wedding with pops of Halloween vibes thrown in and we are right on that, quick as a witches broom. We love the contrast of light and dark and the uniqueness of Halloween. I mean it only rolls around once a year, am I right? And you have to agree, that is one hard to forget anniversary date! And Mia had pinned the most amazing moody wedding arch we had ever seen! It was stunning and we could not wait to create that arch!
Mia and David met through some mutual friends, and David wowed Mia with a home-cooked meal way back in 2011 when they were both pretty young. They have been inseparable ever since and still love to spend 24/7 together. They have supported one another through thick and thin, and including both, and as Mia says, “I am so grateful every day that I have someone that supports me so much and just wants to grow and succeed with me”.
And how was your experience with us at Cactus and Lace Weddings? ” Oh my gosh, it was amazing! So stress-free and just stunning! Having a dream wedding without having to worry was a dream come true!”
There you have it folks, we love this couple and we loved having a chance to put the edge on this awesome wedding for them! And yes, we did eat some of their Halloween candy before they got there, in the spirit of full disclosure! But I bought 10 pounds of candy so we were safe.
Best wishes and Happy Halloween anniversary forevermore! All our love, Cactus and Lace Weddings!
