We do a fair number of weddings of each year, you probably guessed that. But Hannah and Matthew’s wedding was one of my (Lory’s) personal favorites. Every once in a while, a bride goes for an all out elegant style, which is like Snickers and Cake to me. Hannah had chosen lovely romantic gold tones, with soft pinks, and creamy whites. We were having table seating, which is very fun to decorate for. We used a very special and elegant beaded and sequined pattern tablecloth overlay on the tables that just makes our tables amazing, and it makes us so happy to look at it, but I digress. Our tablescape used an exquisite floral centerpiece with gold chargers, and two piece white napkins with a metallic gold insert, which we displayed in the champagne flutes with a hand lettered circular place card placed in the glass. Delicious. Delicious. and more deliciousness. I could swoon here. Our cake, decorated with florals tasted fantastic, which of course it would, since Peridot sweets did the cake!
One of our newest arches, a wonderful circular arch, was used for the first time at Hannah and Matthew’s wedding and we must say we loved it! Circles are very symbolic at weddings and our circular arch represents so many things… the circle of life, everlasting love, never ending love, I could go on and on. Of course, we had to put flowers and greenery to match Hannah’s bouquet!
The weather was perfect. We could not have asked for a better day for an elegant elopement!
