No Time Like The Present | CJ & Chelsea

Never have we planned a wedding so fast! Less than 5 days after contacting us, we had CJ and Chelsea at Valley of Fire for their elopement micro wedding, just the two of them.

Now you may be thinking; “I know that guy from somewhere…” Well, you do! CJ is a professional trophy truck driver, retired stock car driver, and also a YouTuber. So yeah, you have likely seen him before. In fact, when they went to pick up their marriage license the security guard at the Marriage License Bureau recognized them and yelled out excitedly “Hey! You’re CJ Fasion”!

With a slightly overcast sky, we decided to set up in an area that is usually too sunny, but this day blessed us with gorgeous light and beautiful weather. It had rained the day before making the red rock saturated with the water to create a pretty dark red tone. Just a simple lovely day for photos out at Valley of Fire with those red rocks contrasting against the blue mountains in the distance. Our love for this place grows every day.

Casual and laid back, Chelsea and CJ just wanted us to take care of all the details. With only the direction of “we like boho and pampas,” we worked our magic in just the few days we had. When Chelsea and CJ arrived we found them so pleasant and easy to chat. They mentioned how much they loved the concept of our business several times which just warmed our hearts to hear.

We have a few weddings a year that want to be kept private for one reason or another. Some because they’re waiting to have a larger wedding back home, and some because they just want a little time to announce to their loved ones, and some who never share at all! Being trusted with someone’s elopement is an honor, and being trusted to keep it secret, even more so! But here we are, over a year later getting to share this magical elopement and we are absolutely thrilled because it’s definitely one for the books.

CJ & Chelsea, we just want to extend our love and gratitude to you for choosing us to plan your day, and we wish many year of happiness, growth, and of course; lots of love!
