We met Sam and Bryan before they were even engaged. They had decided to get married and contacted us to get that started, THEN Bryan popped the question. Some might say they put the cart before the horse so to speak, but Bryan had this down. Wait until you hear what he did to propose to Sam! So settle in, get a hot chocolate, and I will spill the deets.
Bryan and Sam have been together since, well, forever it seems. They met in High School, (Insert- Sighs and Ah’s here, yay for high school!) but didn’t get serious until college, specifically on November 9, 2009, but who is counting?
I digress. Let’s get back to how Bryan popped the question. Bryan had gone into a jewelry store, merely to LOOK. He ended up spotting the perfect ring for Sam, he knew it was THE ring, and so he bought it! He hid that ring for nearly a month before the next stage in his plan. Thinking on how to have the perfect proposal, one day after a collaborative discussion with their friend Chelsea, he decided to take Sam to the movies the next day, and while they were inside, he had arranged to have the theater change the movie marquis to read, “Sam, will you marry me?”
OF COURSE, SHE SAID, “YES!” Then it was off to their parent’s house where family and friends were waiting to congratulate the newly engaged couple! Their friend, Ariande King, filmed the event, and even though the engagement was not a surprise, how it went down certainly was!
We are so excited for Sam and Bryan! What a fun, laughter-filled day we had on their wedding day! Sam and Bryan both have a great sense of humor, (they had even asked for cookies made with a caricature of their faces on them, and of course, we delivered, every couple’s wish is our command!) and we know that no matter what, they will always love each other and depend on that humor to overcome any challenge.
Sam and Bryan, we loved serving you and being your wedding planners! We are so excited to see your lives unfold, with love and laughter as a foundation, and we expect to see you back here in 50 years for a vow renewal! All our love and the very best of wedding wishes from all Cactus and Lace Team!
