One of the most awesome things about photographing weddings, is getting to know the intimate stories of our couples. As we photograph each part of their wedding, not only do we get to witness the bride and grooms connection, but also the connection they have with family and friends. We get to know the couple from all angles and aspects, and it can be a very emotional and powerful thing.

Ashley and Joe share many life stories that will make you laugh, and several that will make you cry. Their marriage is the most beautiful new beginning that they both deserve. Getting to witness and photograph their wedding was truly an honor.

Ashley & Joe, in the words of the great Steven Hawking, here are three pieces of advice for your new journey-

“One, remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Two, never give up work. Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it. Three, if you are lucky enough to find love, remember it is there and don’t throw it away.”
