Whenever a couple begins to plan their wedding, all kinds of decisions need to be made. Who should we invite, how many guests should we have, and on and on, am I right? SO many questions, and so many decisions. Natasha and Josh made one of the best decisions, and that is to have an elopement in the Valley of Fire with a small intimate group of their family and friends. And the wedding was handled by us, here at Cactus and Lace Weddings.
And the Valley of Fire put on her best face for this lovely, totally in love couple. Pink hills and baby blue skies went right along with Natasha’s choice of decor, almost as if Mother Earth knew exactly what color those tablecloths were going to be on Natasha and Josh’s special day.
As they said their vows, officiated by Amanda Kraft of Sandbox Weddings, it was pretty apparent to all of us as we saw this couple’s love for each other radiate from their faces, and family and friends watched as they pledged their love. Natasha’s smile was infectious and radiant as she looked at Josh, with love beaming from her eyes.
After a brief ceremony, the couple and their guests sat down to some light bites prepared by Carmen, of Sweet Sauce Coffee, one of our preferred vendors, who also served her signature, delicious flavor-infused coffees. Delicious!
We surprised this cute couple with cake flavors that were pretty unique, banana for one layer, and champagne for the next! No one was expecting that delicious combination from Caked, our bakery who goes above and beyond for us, which makes our clients very happy. And see those amazing cookies they created, just gorgeous!
Tasha and Josh, we loved your beautiful wedding day, made especially wonderful by each of you, and your true love for each other. It was our pleasure and honor to be able to play a small part in a truly amazing day for you, in one of the most beautiful, picturesque locations of all destination weddings, the Valley of Fire.
Our best wishes and all our love from all of us here at Cactus and Lace Weddings! Happy adventuring!
