Nichole and Romaine | Rainbow Vista Love

Rainbow Vista, inside the Valley of Fire State Park, is a lovely colorful place. Purples, pinks, oranges, all kinds of different hues. It is really unbelievable in it’s beauty. So here at Cactus and Lace Weddings, we really like to hold ceremonies there with couples who really love locations that speak to the soul and who appreciate the visual glory God has created. When Nichole first approached us on social media, we knew Rainbow Vista was going to be her special place to marry in the Valley of Fire. Nichole loves bold and bright colors, and it was a great fit.

Nichole was so kind and loved us right off the bat and we loved her. It was pretty flattering to hear her excitement about us here at Cactus and Lace. With that kind of cheer leading going on, we knew we wanted to help them have the most wonderful, amazing, elegant elopement ever! And we loved Nichole’s vision of her day. It was fun, full of happiness, love, and had all the elements she thought were important. Their vows were heartfelt and as they spoke to each other, there were some tears falling all around. Nichole and Romaine have been through some tough learning curves, before they met each other. And so when they met, all the planets lined up in just the right way for this special relationship to flourish.

One of our favorite things is to ask our brides and grooms how they knew their fiance’ was “the one”. Romaine said that after the first date, he knew she was it. Nichole said, “He literally almost turned around, like literally drove around the block. He told me like two days in, when I opened the door, he knew I was his wife.” Nichole said one of the things that she was impressed with was that “Romaine was a man of action. When he said he was going to do something, he followed through, and that spoke volumes. I love his work ethic, and family first mentality. He is an amazing man and an old soul when it comes to these qualities. His dedication to anyone he calls a friend or family is the most admirable thing ever, and of course, his smile and his eyes.” Romaine said, “I wouldn’t change anything about her. I love it all, just as I said in my vows, I love her smile, the way she walks, and mostly her laugh. ” (Insert heart melting emoji)

Nichole and Romaine, we think you are both on the right track! We were so glad to meet your kids, your family and friends, and especially the two of you! You are an amazing couple, and we are so glad you found each other!
